First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to apply and to interview with Student Loan Hero. We are very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the phone screen call you had with us. The recruiting team constantly strives to facilitate a positive and meaningful candidate experience across all stages of our interview process, especially during our introductory calls. We do have a specific format for our calls where we follow a template of questions to ensure a consistent and fair evaluation from candidate to candidate. Those questions are designed to ensure we obtain all of the information we need from each interview; however, coming across as impersonal or uncaring is certainly never our intention. As a fully remote company accepting applications from all over the county, our small (but mighty!) recruiting team is handling a high volume of applicants and interviews, so we must beg for our candidate’s patience and understanding when our process sometimes takes a little longer than we would like it to.
