Phone interview, then face to face. Racist comment regarding my home town. Very old school way of communicating with employees. Everyone is referred to a some type of racial stereotype. We talked about my work background , my family life, the cost of floor sweepers, and the housing market in Northwest Indiana. He was interested in my abilities to run the machines he had on the shop floor. I had lots of experiences with drive shafts and we talked about if I could make them for his trucks. Nothing ever came of that end of my work. We never made a shaft in the shop.
