I wanted to share my interview experience and overall observations regarding swisscom. Despite its reputation as a global-scale organization, there is a highly frustrating pattern in their recruitment process that candidates should be aware of.
The company continuously reposts the exact same job openings at regular intervals. I have been tracking their postings closely and noticed that they don't seem to actually hire anyone for these roles. After receiving the standard rejection email stating they "decided to move forward with another candidate," I saw the exact same job re-advertised just a week later.
Unfortunately, this seems to be the "new HR model" across many companies nowadays. It feels less like talent acquisition and more like a corporate exercise in market research, salary benchmarking, or perhaps sending a subtle warning to their current employees. One thing feels certain: actual hiring for these positions is non-existent.
I am writing this review with absolute certainty based on consistent observation. However, I’d be happy to be proven wrong—if there is anyone out there who has actually been hired and started working as a Cloud Engineer for them in Rotterdam recently, please feel free to speak up. Until then, be prepared to just become another data point in their talent pool database.
