    Recruiter Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Tulsa, OK
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Switchgear Search and Recruiting (Tulsa, OK).

    Interview

I was called by the CEO to setup a time to meet, the phone conversation consisted of setting a time to meet, no other questions were asked. As far as I know a college degree or recruiting experience is required to work at Switchgear. I met once with the CEO, the entire interview was more about selling the company and the award the CEO and the company has won than my skills or experience. The CEO presents really well and does a good job at selling Switchgear. I listened for about a hour, and I was offered the position later that day.

    Interview Questions

    • What do you know about Switchgear?
What can you tell me about yourself?
What are some of your strengths?   1 Answer

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Switchgear Search and Recruiting (Tulsa, OK) in June 2013.

    Interview

Initially had a couple of phone screens with a recruiter and the owner. After that I had a panel interview with everyone and felt unsure as to whether or not I got the job. The owner said to follow up with her and she would let me know either way. Well, that didn't happin. I called twice and emailed and she blew me off. I lost the initial respect I thought I had for her.
