Started with phone interview for screening. Next is Panel Interview for skils analysis and behavioral profile. Be truthful and show positive attitude. Reference background checking. Corresponded through email regularly to give status update.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TERA Environmental Consultants (Calgary, AB) in May 2009

Interview

Hiring process was fast, interview was different...writing a page about anything was part of the interview. Technical questions were also asked. I was shown samples and asked to describe them in technical terms or ID them.

They also asked me if I had any pets- I suspect that not having one was a condition of employment so I couldn't use it as an excuse to not work 12+ hour days. I felt like I was looked down upon for having fish if you can believe it.
