The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TSMC (Phoenix, AZ) in Jul 2024
Interview
Just talked about the background and experience in the first round with two managers. Then they introduced the job description and tasks, and talk about the possibilities of overtime working. Nothing special.
The interviewers were two senior staff members from the department, and they were both very nice. They mainly asked questions about my past internships, projects, and papers, including the technologies I used, the difficulties I encountered, and how I solved them. They also asked about my thoughts on handling pressure and working overtime. I needed to be familiar with the projects I had done in the past, and they asked quite detailed questions.
