I was initially given a call from the Human Resources Department and was asked to meet the head of the wealth management department the following week. I took a day off from work and went to TATA Capital and met with the head of wealth management. The interview took 10 minutes long and was a one on one interview session. He did not ask me many questions apart from describing where I worked and what I did. I interviewed for a position with TATA Capital in their wealth management department to assist in raising funds for Private Equity. The hiring manager did not explain the role in detail and only asked me what salary I was expecting. TATA is great brand to work for but I felt that during the interview process, the manager could have questioned me about my knowledge about the market, job, skill sets. I was not asked any questions however, I was successful at getting the job in the end.
