TechAmerica interview questions

Was excited to be called in for an interview. They kept me waiting almost 40 minutes (on a call). The interviewer talked about himself mostly. That being said it was indicated they wanted to fill the spot immediately. Of course nothing heard back - despite a couple of polite emails. Turns out they could not afford to pay for the level of experience they were seeking. After some digging it seems there are money problems and the staff are very unhappy. I found another assoc job - so I lucked out not joining. TechAmerica seems to be a fast sinking ship if you believe the word around DC. No money and utterly disrespectful and unprofessional.

Random thoughts: * Seemed very anxious to fill newly created position. Initial contact made by phone and e-mail, to schedule interview within 2 days. * Stated they wanted to fill position within 10 days. Response to follow-up e-mail, regarding status of application, indicated they were still interviewing 21 days later. * Personal nit-pit: if the company invites you for a 1:1 interview, they should respect you enough to notify applicant of status of application. Indicator of how it treats/regards employees.
