Het was een standaard sollicitatieprocedure waar ik werd uitgenodigd om mijn geschiktheid te toetsen. Na het indienen van mijn cv volgde een persoonlijk gesprek met de hiring manager. We bespraken mijn ervaring, motivatie en verwachtingen voor de functie.

Got through the first round phone screen, set up a follow up on-site interview. During the on-site interview, two of the four panel candidates did not show at the beginning with one arriving 50 minutes into the interview and the HR staff member listed never arriving. While explaining details about my background, one of the engineers asked me “on a scale of 1 to 10 how nervous are you?” which I believe they realized was asked in an unprofessional manner because they immediately back pedaled and asked if that was rude but not before insinuating that my explanations of my tasks in my previous roles were being drawn out due to nervousness and not because I was trying to give the team the full scope of my responsibilities. Was sent an automated rejection email two weeks later after no contact.
