Interview
Was selected to fill in a needed software engineer with broad skills and engineering knowledge. I got a phone call from HR who scheduled an onsite interview. Then met with the manager of a small team who discussed the need for someone with software and electrical engineering background. The interview questions were not so technical but more about background and personality fit.

What do you do when given a task that you can't solve?
Formal interview with questions on the company, CV, past experiences and technological understanding which lasted for a hour and was followed by a walk around tour of the site. Overall a straightforward process but communication either side of the interview was slow

Fairly standard, but honest. It was pretty standard for a large company. I got to meet several of the team members I would be working with. Overall a basic interview process.
