I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Broad Institute (New York, NY) in May 2022
Interview
I found the interview to be refreshingly pleasant, and everyone involved made an obvious effort to put me at ease.
The interview process and expectations of each step were communicated very directly and clearly. Feedback was prompt.
After an initial into interview, there was a take home technical assessment. The assessment was one of the better ones I've seen, with a good balance between being a reasonable ask, and providing a good evaluation of skills.
After the technical assessment, there was a 3-part interview. The first part was behavioral/culture, and consisted of an informal discussion. The second part involved going over my solution to the technical assessment. The third was a more general technical discussion.
