I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Buckle in Feb 2020
Interview
I applied for the position online and was called a week or two after to see if I was still interested and wanted to interview. I actually was about to cancel, the store and associates had always kind of intimidated me after a bad experience there years ago, but a good friend convinced me to go. The manager was different and was ridiculously nice and funny. The interview questions were literally “Can you sew? Can you come in at least once a week preferably the same day each week for 2-4 hours?” So after saying yes to both, she showed me a video on their ipad of their method of hemming (super easy) and asked if it made sense to me. I was like “Yeah that’s actually a lot simpler than I had in mind,” and she was like “Okay cool, I know nothing about sewing so I’m going to offer it to you,”. I took it and worked there for two years until I moved. :)
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at The Buckle (Modesto, CA)
Interview
I was taken to a back corner of the sales floor. I was asked a couple questions. The employer was very casual during the conversation. In all the interview lasted ten to fifteen minutes.

Interview
The interview is held on the floor while customers are milling around you. It felt awkward to be moving out of the way. The interview is based on retail interview questions.
