The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Buckle (Las Vegas, NV) in Dec 2010
Interview
First I want to say that I graduated with a four year degree. Buckle came and recruited on campus so I decided to apply for the management trainee position. After the application I was given a number to set up the interview. I came in to interview and it was the most weirdest experience I have ever had. They interviewed me for less than five minutes standing up in the store. The store manager kept looking at customers and wasn't even paying attention to anything that I was saying. They asked me really normal questions that were not very in-depth. I found out that they had over 30 people to interview that day. Almost like a cattle call.
After interviewing I would NEVER work here. I am too good for this place. I honestly have no idea how they even get people with college degrees to do the job when there are way better programs out there for recent college graduates.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Buckle (Monroe, LA) in Jul 2018
Interview
My interview was very quick — I met a manager in the store and interviewed there. My educational background more than qualified me for the position and I was hired right away.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Columbus, OH)
Interview
It was very direct, asked basic interview questions, however they were very casual and informal. They seemed to focus more on being able to make sales and work on commission rather than be able to focus on the customer and be able to understand and work with them.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Houston, TX) in Sep 2016
Interview
Asked a lot of personal goal questions. Very thorough. They want to see if you are very charismatic and hungry to grow. Make sure to smile and be social. They won't hire you if you are a stick in the mud.
