Be prepared by reading some weekender articles beforehand to get a sense of what type of content they want, also be prepared to remember an article or two that you like. Also talk about your epxerience with writing and have some pitches ready. Be friendly and nice and don't have a snooty writer type persona. The department has chill vibes.
