Misleading job advertisement. I applied for a position that supposedly asked for an intern to update their website and that some training would be provided, but turned out they wanted someone to add 3,000 products AND build a brand new, from scratch, section of their website. Work requirements never mentioned that level of expertise at all. And of course they wanted to pay $10/hr for such strenuous work.
Also, the person who did the phone screening had a terrible negative attitude towards me, and I could feel her sarcastic and deceiving voice on the phone which made me feel very uncomfortable. She seemed very unprofessional as well, left me hanging on the phone for 10 minutes. I felt insulted and disrespected. She never bothered to email me back with decline or offer to come in for proper interview like she told me she would. I didn't want to nor did I expect to hear back, but having good business practices is a minimum. I do not think these people will go far wanting interns to do miracles for their company.
