I applied online. I interviewed at The George Washington Hotel
Interview
Interview process was overall odd. I walk into the room and there were three employees there to "access" me, however one was on their phone while I was answering questions. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional, so not a good look. The president of the hotel had a black eye and was swollen so that was odd too, but again whatever. The biggest thing was the lack of description about themselves and the company culture, it was entirely focused on me and when I tried to direct questions at them they were very evasive. What they told me I would be doing was nowhere listed on the job posting online. They also told me they expected me to work 70 hours a week consistently. While the straightforwardness was good, I was not getting a good feeling about this place. Nor were those working hour requirements on the posting as well. I felt the interview was rushed and they were trying to shoo me out of the room when done. Overall, just not a good experience or feel for the company, their culture, or values.
