Interview
Multiple layers, a professional interview process with conversational and discussion led nature. Situational hypotheticals and task-led discussions in second interview. Staff were uplifting and positive whilst giving a thorough description of the job with clear open table talks about the role and the company.

The interview process was over a few weeks with different editors and managers in the newsroom. The interviews were hosted over zoom and were fairly informal. Questions ranged from prior experience to what you would contribute to the newsroom if hired.

Made personal approach to chief sub editor who undertook nformal interview followed by three-day trial to assess my suitability for the role with particular regard to ability in using software, accuracy and speed under the pressure of deadlines.
