      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Salvation Army

      Interview

We went through two rounds of interviews. The office was adequate and the check-in process was smooth. The interviewers were pleasant, though each session was quite long, about an hour or more. The final interview was a panel that included one of their senior leaders, they call them 'General'. Overall it was fine, but I was uncomfortable when they brought up my ethnicity and mentioned knowing someone of the same background. It felt unrelated to the role and out of place in a professional interview setting.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at The Salvation Army (Melbourne) in Jun 2023

      Interview

The process was relatively quick. Submitted my resume 2 days ago then I got invited for an interview. BUT the team seems to have a set of codes at the end of the first round. From what I experienced, HR team told me the process is incredibly long, and I was just on the very first step. Next round they will send me a case study yada yada. I spotted inconsistency, the marketing team recommended prep a one-pager for the standard answers, but I was apparently confused. Then waited for a week, no communication at all. The second week after, I saw them repost the job post on Linkedin. Well done team, you don't even have the courtesy to inform your candidate about your decision.
