I was initially contacted by TheeDigital regarding new career opportunities, and I was excited to move forward with an interview. The interview process itself went smoothly, and I was happy to share my work portfolio with the hiring team. However, after that point, communication became a major issue. I followed up multiple times over a two month period calling the office four times and emailing yet I received no meaningful updates. Each time, I was told someone would get back to me, but that never happened. After my final follow up call, I finally received an email response stating they had decided to move forward with another candidate. While I understand that hiring decisions are competitive, the lack of transparency and communication throughout the process was extremely disappointing. To be told to “keep in touch for future opportunities” after weeks of being ignored felt dismissive and unprofessional. To future candidates: please be aware that your time and effort may not be respected in this process. Clear, timely communication should be a basic standard in any professional hiring experience.
