Interview
I applied online and was contacted for an interview. I went on time but had to wait because there was a long line of people waiting to be interviewed. The interview lasted ten minutes and included questions like where do I see my career heading, what I’m looking for in this position, how do I support myself, and what my college GPA was. Wasn’t sure what they were trying to gauge with these questions but I answered honestly. She explained some of the benefits and told me most card writers are recent grads like me and asked for a sample of my handwriting (their card writers write all their notes by hand). Two weeks later they offered me a position but I unfortunately had to turn it down as I was offered a full time job elsewhere.

Interview
Was contacted by owner for phone interview a few days after applying. There I was asked extremely inappropriate questions. When I disclosed my above 3.0 GPA, I was asked why it was so low. I was surprised when they asked for me to come for an in-person interview at their office. They asked to bring a printed out copy of my transcripts. In the interview, they whispered and circled potions of my transcript, while asking extremely inappropriate questions about my personal life and family. As someone who just graduated from college and was desperate for a job, I didn’t realize how inappropriate it was or how they were taking advantage of my naivety. Looking back, I should have never accepted this position the interview alone was a reflection of what the company is and how they will treat their employees.

Interview
I have been putting off this review for years. I had a TERRIBLE interview experience when I was a new grad. The interviewer asked me to drive to the valley for the interview, which I did. This was before they made the move to their current office. I had a really long interview with her, where she made snide remarks about my transcript, GPA, and picked apart a grade from one of my classes. PROTIP: Interviewers CANNOT ask you for your transcript. I naively gave them mine, because I didn't know at the time. I didn't have bad grades, and I have NEVER had anyone ask for my GPA or anything since entering the workforce. I will never forget how I felt when my interviewer told me "Well...we are looking for people with like...3.8 GPAs or higher, you know?" She had my transcript before she scheduled the interview so I felt like she was having a power trip and wanted to humiliate me. I am happy to say I didn't get an offer here and got a very unprofessional vibe from the whole process.
