I applied in-person. I interviewed at TigerDirect (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2018
Interview
Very friendly interview and the process to apply was painless, i were able to get the job offer within a week! Sadly, I did not accept due to personal matters.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TigerDirect (Miami, FL) in Oct 2014
Interview
I applied online and was contacted immediately afterwards about within 1-3 days for an in-person interview. The Interview was done in a group panel fashion with a multitude of other applicants who came in for similar positions. Each applicant was called one by one into a meeting room where they were interviewed. Interview was done by the General Manager alongside the Operations Manager of the store. The GM posed behavioral and psychological situational questions, and later questioned me on things off my resume.
Afterwards, once the interview was done they both stepped outside to discuss matters and came back in to let me know to stay in the building until they finished with the other interviews. It became blatantly obvious once they began dismissing certain candidates who was receiving the job or not.
After about a 1/4th of the original group panel was left the managers each addressed us individually with a company terms packet and a drug test/background check form for us to take and return as soon as possible.
