Tire Rack interview questions

Interviewed with the assistant VP of Digital Operations. Interview was more technically oriented than I'm accustomed to for an initial interview, but all questions were fair and not too intricate. Overall a welcome change. Interview gave the impression they really care about their process, Probably one of the best interviewing experiences I've had.

there were 4 round of interviews, mainly asking questions about gathering and validating and analyzing data to evaluate/estimate a service's current and future value. The last interview was a panel interview with the team where they asked about by past experiences, my collaboration skills, work style, and more specific hypothetical data analysis questions about the company. they also asked a SQL technical question. they gave me two initial tables and a resulting table and asked me to explain how to get to the resulting table. mine involved explaining how to join a table, aggregate a metric, and rank the output based on a particular field.
