Tire Rack, family-owned and headquartered in South Bend, IN, is America’s largest independent tire tester and consumer-direct source for tires, wheels and more. Our team of 90+ test drivers (our sales team) tests tires from every major tire brand on our state-of-the-art, 10-acre track. The findings are posted on our site so consumers can make an educated decision on their purchase.
We have also collected more than 150,000 consumer surveys representing over 2.6 billion miles of real-world tire data, the largest known cache of such info anywhere. Various testing and informational videos are online as well.
Since 1979, we have grown from a single-point retail store in Indy to encompass over 2 million sq. ft. of space in seven distribution centers across the U.S. A diverse, broad in-stock inventory from 21 major tire and 62 wheel brands can be delivered anywhere in the country in two days or less. Nationally, 8,000+ independent Recommended Installers are available for local installation.
