There was a hiring drive for newly established Gurgaon office. I was interviewed for Testing Lead position. There were 3 rounds 2 very basic technical and 1 HR. I was selected and they said that they will come back by next week. but I didn't get any call from them for 1 week. On contacting the consultant, he let me know that their budget is very low and they can't even offer my current pkg. Then why did they call me for interview?

Got call from HR. Interview scheduled on time. HR was very unprofessional. Sent email,SMS, called on Phone asking for feedback but got no reply. Interview Process - 2 Rounds 1st Round Technical Senior programmer took - Java Basic - Cleared 2nd Round Technical - Architect took - I am an Architect myself. I know what I am speaking on. Interviewer was finding it so difficult to frame the questions. I was expecting some architect/design level questions to test my skill. Interviewers should be given training on how to take interviews for senior people. I answered all questions but was dissapointed with the process.
