Question 1
Asked a question on using lambdas to populate a dict using a mapping function
Long process that will take about a month. First is an HR Interview, then a technical interview that is like leetcode, after that a take-home that will take 5+ hours. After this is 4 interviews (React, JS, system design, HR manager). Even if you spend about a month in the process you won't get any feedback if you get rejected. The interview process is a waste of time if you're not given feedback so you can improve based on your interviews, and if you're not told what you did wrong or what the company wants.
I applied online. I interviewed at Transcend (CA) (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
Spoke on the phone with recruiter, then had a one on one with the tech lead. This is was the worst experience I had doing a technical interview. There was no expressions, no empathy. Just very rude behavior. I would not want to work with people like this.
