Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and share your thoughts on your interview experience here at Travel Counsellors. We are sorry to hear your concerns around our recruitment policies. Here at Travel Counsellors, we are continually striving to ensure that our processes create the best candidate experience and your thoughts are much appreciated.
Company culture plays a significant part in the continued success of Travel Counsellors and the AVA Assessment used as part of the recruitment process helps us to understand individual preferences more, to enable us to gain greater understanding of prospective colleagues and assist in our actions to integrate new colleagues into our community. The assessment itself is not used to determine whether someone is successful or not – more to determine natural behavioural tendencies – and is used throughout the employee lifecycle. This form of behavioural assessment is also used amongst other companies in different guises.
We have worked on our recruitment processes and made a number of changes to them over the past 12-18 months to ensure that they are compliant, robust and – above all – fair for those who are interested in opportunities within the organisation.
We are committed to ensuring that the Travel Counsellors community continues to be a diverse, welcoming and inclusive community for all, having implemented a number of initiatives such as balanced interview shortlists into our processes. We are continually developing our approach to DE&I as part of our commitment to this inclusive and caring community.
We would very much welcome the opportunity to discuss your experience in greater detail. Please do reach out to us people@travelcounsellors.com to set up a conversation.
