Went through a five-step hiring process, made it all the way to the final stage, only to be told they’d moved on with another candidate. Honestly, it felt like such a waste of time — they could’ve let me know sooner instead of having me invest so much into it. It’s an entry-level role and it really doesn’t need to be a five-step process.
