Trenser Technology Solutions (P) Ltd interview questions

I attended a walkin interview for an Android Developer role. The interview was easy and focused on Android core components, basic Kotlin, and DSA. The interviewer was nice and the overall experience was good. Later, HR informed me that I couldn’t be hired because I don’t have a degree. That was disappointing. This kind of requirement is common in Indian companies, where certificates and degrees are often valued more than real skills, which sometimes leads to hiring less capable developers over talented ones.

The interviewer asked basic questions about my education, projects, and technical basics. I was asked to explain one project I worked on and some fundamental concepts related to my field. They also asked why I was interested in the role and the company.
