Interview
I had three interviews in total for this position and an offer was made, contract signed. Two weeks before my start date they rescinded the offer of employment due to “restructuring” and “business needs.”
While within their contractual rights to provide two weeks notice, it is morally wrong considering I applied for a work permit and needed this job to maintain residency in the country I’ve called home for 6 years. I am now at risk of having to leave the country due to their decision.
