Informal mixer, then had an in person interview where they asked questions, gave me a tour, had me write a short "writing sample" (answer two questions and send by email while in the office), and let me listen in on a few calls. The overall feeling I had was that it was a little disorganized. I interviewed with two people, then did the writing sample, was left there for a while even after I finished, then listened in on another person's calls, then was led out rather abruptly by a totally new person. It was a little weird.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic interview questions. One of them was, "tell us a time when you were working as a team and the project could not have been completed without your involvement." A few other "tell us a time when..." type of questions as well. Overall not too hard and what you would expect.
I applied online. I interviewed at Trupanion (Clinton, NC)
Interview
Very easy. They were very easy to talk Simple questions to get to know you better and also discussed the company a little. She was very nice and we laughed and talked one of the easiest interviews I’ve ever had
I had an initial phone interview and a follow up video interview. Both interviews were very pleasant and I enjoyed speaking with each person. I enjoyed learning more about the position and the company as a whole.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Trupanion (Emmitsburg, MD) in May 2023
Interview
Very easy and quick process. Found out that I didn’t get the position fairly quickly as well. I feel like I didn’t answer questions in the way that they wanted and had I known what they were looking for, things would have gone differently.
