I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TuSimple (Tucson, AZ) in Jul 2021
Interview
My experience with the interview and recruitment process at TuSimple was awesome. Sarah (my recruiter) was super attentive throughout the whole process and was quick to reply to any questions I had. The interview process was pretty straightforward, consisting of three rounds. There were no curveballs or anything unexpected. Overall, a great experience.

Question 1
Q: How do you stay organized and handle stress under aggressive deadlines?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TuSimple (Tucson, AZ) in Nov 2021
Interview
Overall there were three interviews and one writing assignment. The first interview was with Sarah, a recruiter. It was a 30 minute phone interview. After that Sage (another recruiter) scheduled my second interview, which was a video interview with the person who is the supervisor for the position I was interviewing for. It was also about 30-45 minutes. At the end of the interview the supervisor I was interviewing with asked me to complete a writing assignment as the next steps of the interview process, She walked through the details of the assignment at the end of the interview to make sure I understood it. Sarah, the recruiter then emailed the full assignment to me and I was given a week to complete it. It did not take full week to do. After they reviewed my assignment I was sent a request for a 3rd interview (the final interview of the process). It was again a video interview. The position supervisor was again on it along with another member of the team. It was about 30 minutes long again. I worked with both Sarah and Sage on the recruiting side and they were both great to work with and answered any questions I had. From applying to an offer, the whole process took about a month.

Question 1
The first interview was standard first round interview questions: tell us about yourself, salary desire, strengths, what interests you about this job, etc. The second interview was more specific to the position and my application details. The third interview started out with me reviewing my writing assignment and going over why a choose to do it the way that I did. I was then asked what I think I did well and what I could have worked on. After the assignment review they then asked a few more position specific question such as how do you deal with writers block. In each interview they left time for me to ask them questions as well.
