      Saw Operator Interview

      Jan 9, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Walker, MI
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tubelite (Walker, MI) in Mar 2019

      Interview

The interview was straight forward and easy. In my situation, during my interview, I came for the CNC position. The supervisor was enthusiastic it seemed because as he said, they needed CNC operators bad. He wanted me to learn the parts on the saw first which I was totally ok with as they have had a bad experience with a former employee who had screwed up a bunch running the CNC without knowledge of the parts. Took me about 2 weeks to learn all the different parts and feel confident in what I was doing. It was very demoralizing to watch others get trained on CNC while what was agreed in the interview got put out the window.
