I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Tutor Intelligence (Boston, MA) in Oct 2025
Interview
Got an interview through a university career fair in Oct 2025. The interview gave me the impression that the company highly prioritizes people with very strong technical skills, who can produce code on the spot in a quick turnaround. It was purely technical, asked me to write code that required a strong understanding of algorithms within 45 minutes, and was expected to pass all the test cases. Normally, a task like this would require a nontrivial amount of planning and design considerations. The recruiter said that I wasn't expected to talk out loud or explain my process because it wasn't going to be relevant to my assessment.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Write a program that simulates trucks transporting oil into a tanker, and consider the queue and capacity. The framework and dependencies were already given, and I was expected to work with that.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tutor Intelligence (Watertown, MA) in May 2026
Interview
They sent me an email describing the process of online coding assessment, and a link to the problem. The link contains a coding problem that I need to finish in ~1 - 2 hours.

Technical Focus: Questions often resemble challenging, non-standard LeetCode-style algorithms.
Recording Requirements: You will likely need to record your screen and voice while coding to demonstrate your thinking process.
Data & APIs: Tasks may involve analyzing datasets, building apps, or working with APIs, requiring clear documentation of your steps and reasoning.
