I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UBS (New York, NY)
Interview
Seemed a little unorganized. Were helpful and communicative if I had any questions, but every step of the process seemed last minute on their part, from scheduling interviews to scheduling flights. Seemed inconsistent. Some interviewers warm, friendly, and welcoming, while others were not too receptive. This made it difficult to get a good read on their culture and the type of candidate the organization was seeking.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked a lot of "yes or no", which seemed a little odd. For example, "would you be comfortable firing someone?"
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at UBS (London, England) in Jan 2009
Interview
Interview process was fairly thorough and efficient. Started with a phone interview with a recruiter, and then a second interview over the phone with US-based manager. After that had group interview in person and then one to one interview with HR. After offer was made, quite a lot of paperwork to complete but easy enough to understand and work through. Full background check required.
