I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UBS (Columbus, OH) in Mar 2014
Interview
Very informal. Started with a phone interview and then an on site interview at their office where they asked basic conversational and behavioral questions. The interviewers were very nice and explained the role to me in detail and then asked if I had any questions. The interview ended with a tour of the office and an introduction to other members of the team.

Interview
Being from india, this company actually approached our college for recruitment (what is popularly known as ‘placements’ here). The interview experience was good for both interviews, but their selection seems pretty random.

Interview
Went in, very conversational and laid back. Met with most of the partners at the firm/branch. They really just wanted to hear more about my background and knowledge/interest of the markets.

Interview
Submitted a resume, took an online interview, a week later was called in to have an in-person interview with three different teams. Received an offer a few weeks later. The teams asked me questions about my interests and various philosophical questions to see if I'd be a good fit for their team. They were welcoming and personable and I got along with all of them. They were prepared to interview me and obviously did their research.
