Interview
I had to go through 4 hours of interviewing with each hour a separate interview with two people. I had to give very specific examples of how I had exhibited a specific behavior in my past work experience. I felt like the interview was more of a conversation than following a script which to me was very encouraging.
I would've taken the job but ended up declining because when I was given the offer, the HR rep said that was final and their was no negotiating. The amount was less than I currently make, so I thought it was strange that I couldn't have any say in the process. HR was also very non-responsive. She said she would email me with more information to help me review the offer and never did. I also called and left a message, but she never called back. I
I thought the department was a good fit for me, but I felt I had to decline because of my interactions with HR and that it was a big red flag for how the institution works overall.
