Question 1
Math, you must be proficient at algebra level math, better yet if higher. Must also be able to calculate it long hand (on paper without calculator), this is part of the process to weed out people.

Basically none, all you need to do is have a high school diploma or GED, take the ASVAB, and then lastly have the physical ability to be able to complete basic training.
