Interview
Basic background check and qusetonaire. Requires security questions and physical checkup at a military processes center. As long as you have a HS diploma or GED, and no major criminal/negative-financial history, you'll be accepted, as long as you are willing to wait for a spot to open. There are no tranditional interveiw questions. Completion of the ASVAB test is required, and your scores will affect what jobs you may get selected for. Be cautious of promises for specific career fields. If it's not in writting, you won't get it.

Lengthy and thorough. Physical examination and extensive requirements for both physical, mental and education. Job of choice is generally not guaranteed. Must meet most of physical requirements, waivers can be found if you are persistent.
