I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at US Navy (Agana Heights, GU)
Interview
When i went into the interview the recruiter based my job skills on the ASVAB score i had. It was pretty decent and gave me a lot of technical skilled jobs. This helped in seeing my future in the world as a productive member of the US. He gave me a list of jobs that i qualified for but was only able to get my third picked job. I am still happy about it but wished i pursued the other job more.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Navy (Portland, OR)
Interview
The recruiter came to my home and escorted me to the office. The people at the office were courteous and professional. It wasn't really much of an interview- more like gathering the required information. Didn't have to prove that I knew the job already. They gave me an aptitude test to see what types of jobs I qualified for.
