      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at US Navy

      Interview

The process is pretty standardized. SAT and ACT scores are a big component of acceptance. In addition, you must be physically fit and pass a medical examination. I highly advise you apply for NROTC scholarships in the spring of your Jr. year in high school. In addition, I would recommend applying for the school of your choice in the spring also. Early birds get the worm.

The interview process to get into the Naval Academy can be long and complicated. You will need to interview with a congressman in order to obtain a nomination, and also complete various forms from teachers, counselors, coaches, and employers.

      Interview

One-on-one interview with school recruiter where questions about program, career goals, and past achievements were discussed. Later needed to secure a congressional nomination which required a panel interview from staffers of local U.S. Congressional and Senate offices. Received notification of acceptance about three months after my panel interview.
