Four rounds in total - participated in 3 rounds with lengthy project.
I went through three rounds of interviews for the Product Marketing & Enablement Manager role. While the people I spoke with were polite and engaging, the process itself felt unnecessarily stressful, poorly timed, and misaligned with the role as advertised.
By the final stage, the task given to me seemed more suited to a team of three rather than one individual, and the responsibilities presented in interviews differed substantially from the original job description. This raised concerns about whether the company really knew what they wanted from this hire.
The task was sent to me on a Friday 4:30pm knowing I would be travelling internationally the following Monday, and I was asked to deliver and present it early the next day in a different time zone. It was agreed I could present it at 8am local time. It made for an extremely stressful weekend prior to international travel, and felt like a lack of respect for candidate circumstances.
Although feedback was provided quickly after each interview, the overall process felt like “jumping through hoops” without clarity on expectations or realistic scope for the role. In the end, while disappointing, I suspect I dodged a bullet with an organisation that is still figuring out what they actually need.
