It was a Digital Interview, where you record yourself. It was very relaxed. It was a mixture of recording yourself and typing up the answers. There were questions relating to the company and about yourself as well.

The interview process for UMG was nothing out of the ordinary. The interviews felt more like conversations to get to know each other as people and less like a pitch to sell yourself. It took around 3 weeks from start to finish.

I did a hirevue interview which is pre-recorded questions that you answer. Now I am on to a zoom interview where I speak to the hiring manager and get interviewed.

Just a few questions about music and your skills. It was very broad but not bad at all. The communication was very strong and overall a nice atmosphere. I unfortunately did not know that some skills were required

Straight forward, fair interview process. There were not really any curveballs and everything I was asked was relevant to how successful I would d be as an employee at UMG. As long as you are genuine and prepared there isn't a lot to worry about in the interview process.

HR reached out via phone without pre-scheduling a screener. Had a short conversation about role and my experience <10 mins. HR said the maximum amount for the role was roughly $35K LESS than the maximum range they had advertised on their website. They said they would see if they were able to meet my minimum required salary (which was $20K less than the maximum advertised on their website). Never heard from them again, when I logged into the career portal it showed my application as "No Longer Under Consideration."
