Easy talk, just proves you have related experience. Then introduce your future role and function. Should be easy for a student part time job. Even an undergrad can do that if you are motivated and be patient.
Interviewed with the head of the lab after speaking with other members. Casual process, online portion was a formality. In my case, the job posting was for a position already filled
There was a single interview with PI. He asked fairly standard questions about resume, strengths/weaknesses, and prior research experience. Then there was a tour of the lab and I got the chance to ask a few quesitons
