I applied online. I interviewed at Upwind (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process invoiced a 30 minute interview with the team lead in Belfast, a 60+ minute technical interview that talked more about higher level concepts that specific code. The third interview was with a Senior VP and was more personal and involved a logic puzzle. The fourth interview was with HR and mostly involved standard HR-type questions.
The whole process, particularly with the Belfast team, was very pleasant. After the HR interview I was told I should expect an offer in the 'coming days'. When I followed up a week later I was told it was going through final approvals and would be with me 'very soon'. Two weeks after this I've been entirely ghosted and all emails are being ignored.
I appreciate things might change, but to cease all contact this far into a process is simply disrespectful.

"You have four plots showing the CPU and Memory usage of two services: Service 1 and Service 2. Observing the data, you notice a correlation in time when both services experience an increase in resource usage. You also know that Service 1 makes calls to Service 2.
1. What could be the potential bottleneck in this system?
2. What could be the possible reasons for the observed correlation in resource usage?
3. How would you investigate and confirm the root cause?"
4. How can you overcome it?
