I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VPZ (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Jul 2025
Interview
My interview experience with VPZ was unfortunately quite underwhelming and unprofessional. The initial interview was rescheduled due to a mix-up on their end, despite the calendar invite (sent by them) clearly stating the correct date and time. I had to sit in the Teams meeting alone for five minutes before leaving to confirm whether it was still going ahead, only to be told it was scheduled for the following day.
When the interview eventually took place, the originally scheduled interviewer was unavailable, so another office-based employee stepped in. This individual appeared distracted, clearly using two screens, and disappointingly, was vaping throughout the interview. There was little eye contact or engagement, and the questions asked lacked any real depth or structure.
Based on the overall disorganisation and lack of professionalism, I would have had serious reservations about accepting the role, even if it had been offered. It left me with a poor impression of the company’s internal standards and communication.

Question 1
Work History, KPIs and what I did in my personal time.
It was a 2 stage process. 1st stage was with the Operations Director and the 2nd stage with the CEO, Operations Director, and owner. 2nd stage was surreal with the CEO asking all the questions, some of which were just strange, and the owner sitting at the end of the table quietly puffing away on his vape.
