It was a very thorough and brief interview. They went over the job duties as well as salary. I would definitely recommend this job. The interviewer was very respectful and you could tell she loved her job

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Venminder (Denver, CO) in Oct 2017

Interview

I applied on LinkedIn and the hiring manager emailed me that same day and asked if I could do a phone call. She was incredibly eager but agreed to schedule the call for the next day, We spoke briefly about the company and then she asked if I could meet in person THE NEXT DAY! Talk about wanting to fill a position!! We agreed to meet the following week at their co-working space off Broadway. The space is start-up funky, however the reps are in a basement workspace with NO WINDOWS. The hiring manger explained that she actually works from home and that she was just filling in until they hire an actual manager. She was very nice and did not ask any challenging questions. A day later she sent me a script and wanted me to call her and role play. It was straight forward and easy. Then the "real" manager was hired and wanted to do a phone call with me. In the call he stated that he wanted me to work 9-12 hour days (not sure how this would work since they call on banks with specific set hours and if this small company based out of Kentucky is prepared to pay for mandatory overtime). He also stated that he doesn't want to work with anyone that is going to complain about goals or quota. The original manager stated that the base pay was $35k, the 2nd manger stated that the base pay was $25k. Both attempted to explain that the OTE was $50k per year. No one in Denver can live off this. Not sure how they expect to hire any sort of talent at this rate either.
