Veritas Association Management interview questions

I applied to this company and was originally told my application was rejected. A month later, they reached back out to me via email and said please contact them if I wanted to schedule an interview, which I thought was odd? I emailed back saying that I would be open to an interview. Didn't hear back for several days and when I followed up, they said they were moving forward with another candidate. It was honestly so bizarre because they reached back out to me to then turn around and say never mind. This place definitely seemed scattered.
