      Senior Consultant Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Version 1

      Interview

This was a very odd experience. Had 3 interviews, all positive but then had to take the, now infamous if these reviews are anything to go by, online assessments. I assumed, naively it seems, that these would not be a show-stopper. Then the recruitement person called me to say they were ready to make a job offer but not until I re-took 1 assessment! At that point I declined to continue my application as any business that relies solely on personality testing (which I last dealt with in the mid-90s and which ought to have gone out with the ark) is not a company I want to be employed by. I thought that was an end to it. The same day someone from Version 1 called me to say that they would progress my application anyway and would make a job offer. None was forthcoming. I later received a standard out-of-the-box rejection email. This company is far more interesting in ticking HR boxes than in employing individuals for their actual skillsets. Shame really, they must miss out on a lot of talented individuals.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Version 1 (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Feb 2022

      Interview

Very casual conversation, went down my CV and told me about the project they had in mind for me. I also had a quick conversation with someone else in the same field as me

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Version 1

      Interview

After initial screening they will ask you to appear on a on-line analytical & technical test. As per the recruiter either way they will let you know the result, in my case after few follow up they told I have nothing to worry as passed with good score. Again after few weeks they mentioned to appear for a technical and managerial round. Those rounds were also normal and were friendly in nature. After having all positive interactions, I was expecting to hear from the recruiter but didn't get the feedback. After follow up came to know that hiring manager has still not shared the feedback which was highly unprofessional as usually either way they are obliged to provide feedback. After few weeks I got a regret email from the recruiter citing vogue excuses. I feel company doesn't follow the standard procedure and their recruitment process is little amateur.
