      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Vodafone

      Interview

Very easy. Over the phone. Very quick. Staffing company wasn't the best and some wrong information was given. Not very well organized. Had issues with the address due to the staffing agency location move.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Vodafone (Stoke-on-Trent, England) in Dec 2018

      Interview

You'll be in a room with several other candidates and you'll get a basic run down of Vodafone and what we work for, during this you'll eventually be given your role play scenario to go through independently, you're given time to highlight important parts of the transcript you may need and you can take this with you before going in. Next you'll go for your interview, It's customer and personality focused, so mainly focus on when you've delivered great service and how you in yourself can bring more to Vodafone (this is important) Finally you'll do a roleplay in which you'll be the advisor and someone will be the customer, aslong as you have looked at the roleplay and took notes/highlighted points you'll be fine, they don't expect you to act like a seasoned call centre employee, but someone who can retain information and be empathetic

      Interview

This is easily my worst interview experience after I graduated. I still feel bad if I think about it. I apologize if it’s long. -Online application; -Almost 10 days later I got a telephone interview with a gentle girl asking why Vodafone and simple questions about me; -30 minutes later she sent me a logical and a motivational test. At the end of the same day she called me saying I brilliantly passed the phone interview and the tests and she invited me at the Recruiting day at the Vodafone Village in Milan. Along with the invitation email she sent me an English test to solve before the interview. I was really happy because they were so fast and straight forward. -Group interview: we met 2 HR and 1 Team Leader, they talked always informally to us and made us feel comfortable at the start. We were 4 candidates and I was the only one actually graduated. After a fast presentation of Vodafone with a few questions to us and our personal presentations we went into the business case. 20 minute to think alone and 30 to discuss it and find solutions. The conversation went well, everyone was collaborative so it was easy to solve the case. This part really went great for me personally. After we finished they made us wait in the break room so they could call us individually. -Individual interview, here comes the worst part: the only HR who made questions immediately changed behaviour talking formally to me, wich actually was fine, I didn’t mind about it. The first thing she said, laughing at me with the other two colleagues, was claiming that my address was fake because I'm from south Italy…Of course my answer was “no, I have a room here because I’m looking for job in here, so I need that apartment”. You can easily imagine how bad I felt after this start. For the first five minutes she did all these kind of questions trying to make me stressful and even one of them (which wasn't of HR) looked uncomfortable with that behavior of her. She was harsh to me and I really can’t understand why, it never happened to me, maybe she just didn't like me. Anyway I just kept my smile and went ahead answering to all the questions calmly till the end. Even if I felt bad I thought my interview globally was good at the end. They said us to wait a personalised feedback to understand our strenghts and weak points because “they are different from the other companies”…After a few days they wrote I wasn’t suitable for that position without any personalised feedback. I asked for it but I never got an answer. Surely they are different from others... They know how graduates struggle to find job in Italy, they know how many efforts and money we put on it, and they know that for southern people this is even more difficult. I’m not complaining because I was not suitable for them, I just wanted more respect. Their program wich I applied for even said “We care 4 your future” but after I went out from their building I was hurt and I thought I don’t wanna do an interview or work in a company like this anymore, my dignity is more important.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Except the first weird minutes, there were the standard questions: -Talk me about yourself -Why you chose to study that major? -What you wanted to do when you was young? -Are you satisfied with the group interview results? (several times) -Talk me about your past interviews
