Telephone interview, from Canada (for a London based job). Felt very competent, well experienced, and altogether 'safe pair of hands' interviewer albeit from a general HR perspective rather than coal-face familiarity with the actual job.
I guess they know what they're looking for but very frustrating and sad not to progress beyond the initial telephone screening as I'd really set my heart on getting in.
Would ideally have liked some sort of real world "how would you tackle ..." type questions or even written/online tests, so as to have left me with a better sense of having either proved or disproved ability and enthusiasm for the position, however skilled the more generalist interviewer may have been.
I took the modern day step of emailing for any further feedback but not heard anything as yet, which to be fair I'm not really expecting because why would an employer need or want to get into such a debate with someone after making their decision.
Interview wasn't really in London but this page forces an answer and London was the least inappropriate that I could get to be accepted by the pre-submission page rules.
